At the start of the game, you can explore the house and prepare your defences for the upcoming intruders. You can move furniture to change the path of the intruders or destroy furniture to summon spiders, the weakest monsters in your disposal.

Place objects strategically, to lure your enemies towards the spiders and make sure they don’t reach your pentagram! You can close off doorways but be aware that the intruders will either try to find a different path or destroy the objects in their way!

When an enemy gets scared enough to flee, they leave collectable souls behind, that you can use to curse certain objects. Cursed objects contain powerful monsters with special abilities, that will help you to get rid of intruders more easily. When you’re done with preparation, light the last candle to start the summoning ritual. 

Huh… did you hear that? Looks like the police took notice of your ritual! Time to fight!
